Sea Transport Ship Agency Industry Digital Plan (IDP) Forum is a concept program that is carried out through collaboration between the Infocom Media Development Authority (IMDA), Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Skills Future Singapore (SSG). This activity is carried out in order to support the Digital SMEs Go program which aims to simplify the use of digital technology as part of the SME Go Digital Programme that makes going digital simple for SMEs
This Forum activities were carried out on 14th November 2019 at the Civil Service Club, Tessensohn Clubhouse, Singapore. Aside from senior personnel from shipping agencies, Shipping Industrial Digital Plan Forum was also attended by business people who wanted to gain insight into business development by utilizing digital technology.
In this event there were also several Tech Providers who shared various information. Ada Lim as Co-Founder of Glee Trees as a speaker in explaining the role of process automation in small and medium businesses.
SMEs can also tap on expert advice to transform their business with digital technologies. The SME Digital Tech Hub, established by IMDA and operated by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME), is a dedicated hub that provides consultancy to SMEs with digital needs.
The digital consultancy services are provided free of charge to SMEs. Consultation sessions was held during the event, after the presentations. By participating in the Digital Plan Forum, participants can get the opportunity to consult about digital technology for their businesses for free at the end of the event. Activities run smoothly and have a positive impact on SME businesses, especially for those who are just developing their businesses.
